Kristin Chenoweth, the illustrious and multifaceted actress with countless accolades, brings her extraordinary talent and vibrant stage presence to the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC) on August 5, at 8 p.m., as part of the theater’s 25th anniversary lineup.

Renowned for her exceptional vocal prowess, remarkable acting abilities, and charismatic persona, “Chenoweth continues to redefine what it means to be a true star,” said Heather Draskin, WHBPAC’s marketing director. “And we know that her fans in the Hamptons will be treated to one of the most exceptional performances of the summer in our iconic theater as we celebrate our 25th anniversary.”

With legions of adoring fans, Chenoweth recently co-starred in Apple TV+’s acclaimed musical-comedy series “Schmigadoon!” alongside Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key and Ariana DeBose; and for her role as Mildred Layton, Chenoweth received a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Having received an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in “Pushing Daisies, she also won a Tony Award for “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” Chenoweth was also nominated for her original role of Glinda the Good Witch in “Wicked” in 2004, and has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and for a People’s Choice Award for her role on “Glee.”

Recognized for her pristine vocal range and exquisite technique (she is, after all, a graduate of Oklahoma City University with a Master’s degree in Opera Performance), she continues to delight audiences with her angelic voice and effervescent personality. Her ability to effortlessly transition between genres, from classical to contemporary, has garnered her critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Whether performing on the grandest stages or in intimate venues like the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, her remarkable ability to connect with the audience leaves a lasting impression on Broadway and film lovers of all ages.

Beyond her enthralling performances, Chenoweth is also a fervent philanthropist and advocate. She uses her platform to raise awareness for various causes, including arts education and animal rights. Her charitable work has inspired countless individuals and showcases her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on society. In 2009, she wrote an upliftingly candid, comedic chronicle of her life so far, “A Little Bit Wicked,” which debuted on The New York Times Hardcover Non-Fiction Best Seller List. Chenoweth recently released her first picture book “What Will I Do With My Love Today?” The heartwarming story, is a sweet tale about a young girl named Kristi Dawn, who shares her love through acts of generosity around New York City. Chenoweth has also joined Kathy Najimy, Linda Perry, Chely Wright and Lauren Blitzer as an editor of “My Moment: 106 Women on Fighting for Themselves.” Just released, the essay collection is inspired by — but not limited to — the #MeToo movement and lets women from the entertainment industry and other walks of life describe a crucial point of adversity that propelled them into forward motion for good.

Tickets for Kristin Chenoweth are $270 to $396 at whbpac.org or 631-288-1500. Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is at 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach.
