The second annual Hamptons Whodunit comes to East Hampton Village from Thursday, April 11, to Sunday, April 14. The mystery and crime festival, which takes place throughout the village all weekend long, includes celebrated mystery and thriller authors and true crime experts who participate in panels and social events with audience members. The weekend features award-winning authors and noted speakers, events, tours, parties and interactive games. East Hampton Library, 159 Main Street, is the main venue for panels and special events. BookHampton, 41 Main Street, will host author book signings. The East Hampton Historical Society’s Thomas & Mary Nimmo Moran Studio, 229 Main Street, will also be one of the venues this year. The Kick-Off Cocktail Party at the Maidstone Club — Thursday, April 11, 6 to 8 p.m. $125.
Enjoy an evening socializing with renowned mystery and thriller authors, as well as true crime experts at the Maidstone Club on the Atlantic Ocean. Tickets include beverages and hors d’oeuvres, as well as a chance to chat one-on-one with some of the leading figures in the mystery and crime world.
VIP tickets are $300 and give guests the chance to mingle with authors and true crime experts for one hour before the cocktail party begins. Only 25 tickets will be sold.
Unleash Your Inner Detective! Forensics World Crime Scene Challenge — Saturday, April 13, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. $30 (12 tickets available for each of 12 time slots).
Experience suspenseful entertainment and true crime investigation in a two-hour Hamptons Whodunit murder mystery event at the fabled Sea Spray Cottages on the dunes next to Main Beach. The cottages are a mysterious location that will be open to the public for the first time in 40 years.

The Goody Garlick Graveyard Tour With Village Historian Hugh King — Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13, 5 to 5:45 p.m. Rain or shine, no sign-up necessary.
In 1658, before Salem, there was the not-so-wicked witch of the Hamptons called Goody Garlick. Hear her story from Town Crier Hugh King in the Burying Ground where it all took place. Guests should meet by the South End Burying Ground at 28 James Lane, East Hampton at 4:50 p.m. There’s parking at the Windmill.
