Guild Hall will host Grammy Award-winning pianist Robert Glasper on Monday, July 29, at 7 p.m. Originating from Houston, Texas, Glasper is a jazz, hip-hop, and R&B luminary and is known for his album “Black Radio,” with guest performances by artists including Lupe Fiasco, Bilal, Lalah Hathawa and Yasiin.

His music seamlessly blends intricate, mellow compositions with nuanced hip-hop undertones. Throughout his career, Glasper has collaborated with many notable musicians, including H.E.R, Snoop Dogg, Dave Chappelle, Chaka Khan and Questlove, resulting in Grammy-winning albums. Glasper’s innovative musical fusions promise to make this an unforgettable experience.

Recently, Glasper served as producer, composer and arranger for the film “Miles Ahead,” a biopic documenting the life of legendary jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, whom Glasper cites as being one of his major musical influences. In addition, Glasper released “Everything’s Beautiful,” a tribute to Davis, which includes remixes and reinterpretations of several of his original works.

Tickets are $65 to $165 ($58.50 to $148.50 for members) at guildhall.org. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Guild Hall is at 158 Main Street, East Hampton.
