Join artist Lindsay Bardwil on Saturday, September 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. for the opening reception of “Metamorphic,” her solo show at The Lucore Art in Montauk. The work will be on view from September 21 to October 10.

Lindsay Bardwil is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Montauk. She was born and raised in Manhattan before moving to the East End, where she now resides full time. Surrounded by the sea, her work is primarily inspired and a reflection of the quietude and peace of her environment. Her surroundings are not only her inspiration but her closest collaborator — much of her work features collected natural elements, foraged and carefully selected by the artist herself. Her broad range of work includes reflections on the abstract, surreal and expressionist disciplines of artistic endeavor.

Bardwil studied at Northeastern University and New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology before beginning her artistic journey in 2010 working on a small collection of paintings which quickly garnered serious interest.

The Lucore Art is at 97 South Euclid Ave in Montauk. For details, visit thelucoreart.com.
