Lewis Black has compared his participation in the Drama Desk Award-winning show “Celebrity Autobiography” to eating frosting. And looking at the roster of repeat performers at Guild Hall alone, it isn’t a leap to assume they’d agree.

Fresh off a Broadway run, the hit comedy show — where celebrities act out excerpts from hard-to-believe-they-wrote-‘em tell-alls — will return to the East Hampton theater on Friday, August 23, for a pair of performances at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Featuring new memoirs and old favorites, the star-studded cast will include the likes of Chris Bauer, Susan Lucci, Alan Zweibel, Eugene Pack, Dayle Reyfel, and more.

Tickets range from $40 to $75, or $38 to $70 for members. For more information, call 631-324-4050 or visit guildhall.org.
