Suffolk Theater will present the band 80’s Revolution on Friday, January 13, at 8 p.m. 80’s Revolution is an exhilarating, high energy party show highlighting the hits that drove people to the dance floor throughout the 1980s. No detail is missed — from the neon to the leg warmers — this show takes audiences back in time to when Pat Benatar, Def Leppard, Journey, The Outfield, Michael Jackson, ABBA, Loverboy, Cindi Lauper, Rick James, Madonna and Van Halen ruled the airwaves. From dance pop and new wave to hair band rock, 80’s Revolution covers the era like no other.
The band features a trifecta of incredibly talented female singers who share the lead and back-up vocals on songs where they lend their own style and energy. Sharing the stage up front are Gloria Carpenter, Chelsey Caulfield and Katie Lynn Joel backed by one of the most talented group of musicians around including Paul Alan (guitar/vocals), Kat Viksne Darcy (keyboards/electric violin, vocals), Eric Heiss (percussion/vocals), and Brian W. Silver (bass/bass keyboard synthesizer/vocals).
Tickets to 80’s Revolution are $35 to $55 at SuffolkTheater.com. Suffolk Theater is at 118 East Main Street in Riverhead.
