A curated exhibit will feature very big images of farm structures recently demolished and landscape vistas now sporting new buildings at the Southampton Cultural Center’s Levitas Center for the Arts. Two artists have captured these fast-changing scenes in dramatic paint and photography.
Wall-sized paintings of beaches, farmscapes, and our east end’s big skies created by artist Eileen Dawn Skretch and large-scale photos of fast-disappearing farm structures captured by Anthony Lombardo will be installed at the center this month.
‘Scenes & Structures’ will be open to the public from Tuesday, March 1 through Sunday, April 10. A meet-the-artist reception will be held on Saturday, March 12, 4 to 6 p.m. For more information, call (631) 726-4625 or visit scc-arts.org.
