The Springs Library opens the 2024-25 Season of its Meet the Author series with a presentation by marine scientist, photographer and filmmaker Gaelin Rosenwaks on Tuesday, September 3, at 6 p.m. at Ashawagh Hall. Rosenwaks is the author of “Sperm Whales: The Gentle Goliaths of the Ocean” (Rizzoli) with a forward by ecologist Carl Safina.

Rosenwaks’s presentation will highlight her book and upcoming film, which chronicle expeditions to the underwater world of sperm whales near the island of Dominica.
