Two years after voters approved the purchase, the East Hampton School District on Monday closed on the purchase of the former East Hampton Town scavenger waste treatement center. The property will be converted into a bus depot and classroom for a new mechanics vocational program.KYRIL BROMLEY
The East Hampton School District has been leasing the former Schaefer Bus Company property on Route 114 to store its bus fleet. The district will be moving the operation to property it approached next to the East Hampton Town Recycling Center on Springs-Fireplace Road. KYRIL BROMLEY
