Easy Call

Elmore Leonard wrote “Out of Sight.” Most people remember the movie with George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez. Jack Foley was the character memorialized by Clooney. A robber with a unique skill: He asked questions and didn’t use a weapon.

Trying my best to portray the asking questions part, it took me four phone calls and seven minutes to speak with a lieutenant commander in the Navy. What did we discuss? Napeague Harbor.

If it was that easy for me, what if someone elected tried? Maybe the Trustees could pick up the phone to call? I’ve got the number for any of you.

Still here.
