Gurney’s Montauk will host Wreaths by the Sea, a holiday workshop benefiting Share the Harvest Farm, on Sunday, December 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Guests will have the chance to create their own festive wreaths using natural materials such as pine cones, moss, citrus, and grasses, guided by May Zegarelli of Ocean Fog Farm.
The experience includes all materials and instruction, plus a glass of wine, cheese and crackers and farm-fresh appetizers prepared by Chef Nicolas Reisini of Honest Plate, featuring produce from Share the Harvest Farm. The wreaths are designed to return to the earth after the holidays — simply remove the ribbon and metal frame, and the natural elements can be composted.
