Guild Hall this week released renderings of the new proposed designs for the renovation of the John Drew Theater, which would retain the current theater's circus tent ceiling and whimsical chandelier, while reconfiguring seating, improving sound quality and modernizing the theater's technical infrastructure.
Retaining the circus tent motif was a nod to a chorus of criticism from a small group of residents when Guild Hall proposed a much more extensive remaking of the John Drew Theater.
