EAST HAMPTON VILLAGE — East Hampton Village Police arrested a Shirley man, Antonio Alejandro Cabrera, 38, on a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest, as well as a violation charge of disorderly conduct, around noon on November 25. Cabrera, police reported, first interacted with them a little after 9 that morning when he was asked to leave the construction supply store on Railroad Avenue because he was being unruly. Richard Scott Pims, 52, who resides in both Springs and Boca Raton, was charged by East Hampton Town Police with felony DWI after an accident on Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road in Springs on Saturday a little before midnight. Police said that Pims was driving a 2023 Nissan with Tennessee plates when he lost control and went off the road, crashing into a mailbox, several shrubs, and some pilings. The first officer on the scene reported finding Pims behind the wheel, engine running. The Nissan had suffered “substantial front end damage,” and Pims appeared intoxicated, police reported. MONTAUK — Wilmer F. Guachamin Aguirre, 35, was arrested on a felony charge of criminal contempt in the first degree at a residence the morning of October 28. Police said that Guachamin Aguirre violated a court order of protection that had been issued by East Hampton Town Justice David Filer after an arrest in September. Carlos Rodrigo Vaca Vera, 37, of East Hampton was charged by East Hampton Village Police early Sunday morning with aggravated DWI with a child passenger, which is a felony under Leandra’s Law. Police said Vaca Vera was driving a 2005 Mercury Marquis on Woods Lane erratically and failed to signal a turn onto Toilsome Lane leading to a traffic stop and eventually his arrest.
