The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will hold its 30th annual Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk on Saturday, October 7, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is intended to promote responsible dog ownership and awareness of ARF. The two-mile walk to the ocean and back will begin and end at the East Hampton Historical Society’s Mulford Farm. Parrish Received Grant To Support and Expand Outreach to Underserved Groups

The Parrish Art Museum announced that it is the recipient of a $198,000 grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. With the grant the museum will evaluate, improve, and expand Access Parrish, an existing gallery experience and art-making program that serves individuals with special needs, including cognitive diverse individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, people with physical disabilities, and people who have experienced severe trauma. Access Parrish uses experiential learning opportunities to make the Parrish accessible to underserved, under-invited, vulnerable, marginalized and isolated populations.
