Therapy Prep Classes will prepare handlers and dogs for the Pet Partners therapy dog evaluation. The series of three classes will cover all the required obedience and therapy exercises that evaluators will use to determine a dog’s suitability for registration as a Pet Partners therapy dog. It is recommended that participants have completed an obedience class or have already taken an AKC® Canine Good Citizen course, but not required.
July 8: 12:00 PM-3:00 PM - Pre test with your dog
July 22: 11:00 AM-4:00 PM - Workshop in ARF Conference Room, no dogs.
August 5th or August 12th: 12:00 PM - Evaluations
