The Leiber Collection is excited to announce an entrancing event with Artist Pipi Deer in The Leiber Sculpture Garden!
For over 30 years Pipi Deer has used Art as a vehicle for transformation and healing. Standing next to her piece, Fire Island, hanging on a tree in the Leiber Collection Sculpture Garden, (taken the summer of 2021), Pipi will read tantric poems by an 18th century poet named Ramprasad - Mother of the Universe, Visions of the Goddess and Tantric Hymns of Enlightenment.
This is part of our Garden of Friends exhibition currently on display in The Leiber Collection Sculpture Garden that showcases new works from some of the East End’s most talented artists, Scott Bluedorn, Philippe Cheng, Nicole Corbett, Pipi Deer, Jeremy Dennis, Sabra Moon Elliot, Ellen Driscoll + Kathy Engel, Saskia Friedrich, Robin Gianis, Donna Green, Jeremy Grosvenor, Erica-Lynn Huberty, Chris Kelly, Laurie Lambrecht, Jill Musnicki, Bastienne Schmidt, Christine Sciulli, and Almond Zigmund.
Also on view in the garden is The Leiber Sculpture Garden's Permanent Collection with Artists Philippe Cheng, Margaret Garret, George Nama, Bill King, Constantino Nivola, Toni Ross, Hans Van De Bovenkamp and more!
Come early to see the works of Judith and Gerson Leiber in the museum galleries, open 1 - 4pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and aSundays and at other times by appointment.
