East End Arts is pleased to present an intimate gathering for artists and art enthusiasts featuring artist Rainer Gross and historian, museum director, journalist Helen A. Harrison during Rainer's Double Take art exhibition on Wednesday, October 26th at 6PM at the 11 West Gallery.
The two will discuss the evolution of art and the art scene on the East End of Long Island since the budding 1970's, when Rainer began his US career on the South Fork. Helen has been an active part of the LI art scene much of her career, and both share seats on the Board of the Larry Rivers Foundation.
Double Take is a solo exhibition of North Fork based, German-American artist Rainer Gross. Featuring new paintings from the artist's continuing Twins series, Pandemic Fragments and Double Takes photo based artworks on paper, it is his first local show since moving to the North Fork in 2017.
More of the show can be viewed at the EEA Main Gallery [133 E. Main St., Riverhead], a five minute walk away from the event gallery.
