Candace Hill Montgomery, “Dothan in the Hamptons” is on view from June 24th to July 26th with an Artist Talk and Reception on June 25th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Art Gallery at the Quogue Library. Candace Hill Montgomery is an artist, poet, musician, and performer. Her work encompasses different media and engages personal as well as historical and political themes.
Candace Hill Montgomery, a Bridgehampton resident, has shown on Long Island and in New York City art institutions and galleries. She has been the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship, and an NEA grant, among many other awards. Hill Montgomery has published seven books and her work is in the permanent collection of the Parrish Museum in Watermill.
