Last year, we saved over 3950 lbs. of food waste from the landfills thanks to all our program participants! The Community Composting Program helps divert food waste from the landfill and into home gardens as nutrient-rich compost. Closing the loop on food waste is imperative to build healthy soil, and create resilient local food systems while fighting climate change.
