This class is an opportunity for East End food professionals to complete their Suffolk County Food Manager's Certification in one day.
The one day course will provide in depth information on Suffolk County guidelines regarding temperature control, foodborne illnesses, and proper pH. It will also cover equipment, hygiene, and facility maintenance, including for catering and pop up events.
Students who successfully complete the course and exam are issued a Suffolk County Food Manager's certificate that lasts for three years. All food service operations, including temporary establishments, that are located in Suffolk County are required to have a currently certified individual on their premises during all hours of operation.
The Food Manager's Course Manual and examination are available in both English and Spanish.
