Today Crown Bees announced their first-ever Livestream series to teach solitary bee raisers how to confidently harvest their mason bee cocoons.
In past years, Crown Bees hosted in-person harvesting parties across the Pacific Northwest to teach local bee raisers one of the most important parts of raising mason bees: harvesting the cocoons. This year, they're making the party even bigger by extending invitations to bee raisers across all of North America!
Crown Bees will hold three Livestream events where they will discuss the importance of harvesting cocoons, best harvesting practices for the three different types of nesting materials, and how to properly store and clean mason bee cocoons for healthy spring bees. The Crown Bees' team will be on-site to answer questions and provide tips in real-time.
