Conscience Point is known to be the original meeting place of the Shinnecock and English settlers of Southampton in June of 1640. Now you can join us for a paddling tour led by Chenae Bullock of Moskehtu Consulting who will take us on a journey through history to cover oral Indigenous history, Indigenous plant identification, indigenous lifeways, and Indigenous songs. You will need to bring your own canoe and or kayak, paddles, life vests, sun screen, hat, etc. Paddlers please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance so boats can be offloaded and loaded into the water on time. The tour will be determined on the group and can range from 1 to 2 hours in length.
