Join the Peconic Land Trust for a visit to Hallock State Park to meet Darren Mikula, park naturalist, and explore well-maintained woodland trails, a large glacier-made pond, butterfly meadow, and over a mile of protected shoreline along the LI Sound. We’ll visit the Hoodoo’s -- unique land formations -- on our way to the beach for a short cleanup before heading back. Bring your binoculars to possibly view great horned owl, red tail fox or even an eagle. All materials for the beach clean up will be provided.
Free! Space is limited, reservations required. Rain date is Monday, July 19. To register call 631.283.3195 ext. 17 or email Events@PeconicLandTrust.org. Please provide your name and a call back number.
