“Hoops 4 Hope is proud to host the second annual East End 3’s 3-on-3 tournament. Last year’s event was a great springboard for creating more awareness about us, our mission and vision. Many people are under the impression that because of our name perhaps that we’re only about basketball, but that only scratches the surface of what we do. Hoops 4 Hope provides young people in South Africa, Zimbabwe and here on the East End with the fundamentals and opportunities to be happy, healthy and safe, both physically and emotionally. Similar to last year, we’re hoping to have fun and play some competitive basketball, but first and foremost help kids in the process,” shares Anthony Allison, Executive Director of Hoops 4 Hope.
