Opening reception for artist Scott Bluedorn's Leviathans series inspired by Melville's Moby Dick. Works include solar print etching, watercolor, cyanotype prints and more. In the lead up to Canio's three-day Moby Dick Marathon reading event June 9 - 11, this evening reception will include sea shanties with Hugh Brown & Friends. Artwork on view through June 25.
A special feature of the show is an outdoor art installation : a Leviarinth, whale-shaped labyrinth fashioned from rope on view June 5 through 10 at the Old Whalers Church lawn.
