We are very excited to announce the first concert of the sixth annual Songwriters Share concert series.
This year’s series will offer a great deal of musical variety-in which we donate to 6 local charities and support numerous local musicians. In addition to supporting these charities the Songwriters Share Concert Series has been
a wonderful way for the community to come together-to hear good music, listen to what has inspired songwriters to write their songs.
Our first concert will be Friday, January 3rd at 7:30 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse of the South Fork
located at 977 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike. Our featured musicians will be the band “Points East”-
Points East is a family band from the North Fork of Long Island performing original music and unique arrangements of cover tunes with an acoustic alternative folk newgrass country flavor.
Points East will share the proceeds of this concert with “Maureen’s Haven.” The goal of Maureen’s Haven is to provide safe, warm temporary shelter to homeless individuals from November through March, utilizing volunteer houses of worship and congregation volunteers. The host facilities and supporting organizations provide much more than a place to sleep and a nutritious meal. They provide support through embracing the values of human dignity, respect, service, compassion, teamwork, diversity and love.
General Admission is $20.00 and $15.00 for seniors and students.
A complimentary wine and cheese reception follows each concert.
