Gregory Wessner
Kulture Collective welcomes Wessner to the shores of the Sound on October 24th for its popular Beach Fire Series. Wessner, who, earlier this summer, received the American Institute of Architects New York’s Award of Merit, its highest honor, spent over two decades with the Architectural League of New York before becoming executive director of Open House New York in 2013. He also served as chief administrator of the National Academy School of Fine Arts and worked at Southampton’s Parrish Art Museum. Last fall, he was chosen as executive director of the National Academy of Design (NAD). Wessner will discuss his work at NAD and cultural advocacy in today’s world.
