The Winter Art Exhibit will have over 40 participants from the
Southampton Artists Association (SAA)
Creativity is alive and well at Southampton High School. 41 students from the art department will join members of the Southampton Artists Association for the annual SAA winter show. A variety of art forms from the students will be on display. They include painted and small wire- sculpted self portraits, photo collage and digital art.
Art teachers, Pam Collins and Justine Moody, who coordinated the student display, teach a rich variety of art forms including painting, stage set design, murals, portraiture, digital art and ceramics. In addition, once a week, throughout the school year, the art students participate in the Parrish Collaborative Club, led by art educator, Casey Meyer, from the museum.
The SAA Winter Show runs from February 29 through March 10.
