Southampton Soap Co. Pops Up at Marilee’s Farmstand in Sagaponack

Description:

Next up in the series of pop-up vendors at Marilee’s Farmstand at 698 Sagg Main Street, Sagaponack, Southampton Soap Company drops by to set up a “soap bar” of aromatic soaps—pure, homegrown luxury—on Friday May 12 from noon to 5pm—just in time for Mother’s Day (May 14.)
In addition to a wide selection of spring vegetables and preserves, Marilee’s Farmstand will offer bunches of local flower bouquets for mom, or another special someone on Friday.
Beginning in 2009, Southampton Soap Company soaps have been developed for sensitive skin and include—to name just a few types—Uplifting Geranium, Lavender Oatmeal, and Honeysuckle.
“We use honest ingredients; natural ingredients are natural medicine,” says founder and owner Deborah Lukasik O'Shaughnessy. Handmade with water from the ocean, locally grown herbs and botanicals, and the finest plant-based ingredients available, Southampton Soap Company soaps are sold in shops across Long Island. Outlets include Provisions Natural Foods Market & Organic Café in Sag Harbor and the Milk Pail Fresh Market in Water Mill.
Come to your senses, come to the farmstand on Friday.
O'Shaughnessy is a proud member of the Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild. For more information about the Southampton Soap Company, visit southamptonsoapcompany.com
Marilee’s Farmstand is currently open on Fridays, 10am-5pm.
Beginning May 27, this popular farmstand will also be open on Saturdays.
Look for events at the stand throughout the season including other pop-up vendors, as well as farmer talks and more.
It’s not too late to sign up for Marilee’s Farmstand’s weekly Spring CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. In fact, you can opt into the program on a weekly basis.
Visit marileesfarmstand.com for all the details, including discounts for seniors, schoolteachers, healthcare workers, EMTs and firefighters; and pick-up and delivery options.
A weekly email tells you what’s in each basket ($50 per, without discount). Every basket features a range of goods and a recipe. Pick yours up, and shop for additional spring produce at the farmstand, Fridays 11am-5pm. (The stand opens at 10am, but CSA pick-up begins at 11am.) For more information about the CSA program, email info@marileesfarmstand.com. Or call 631-537-0070.
