The 1770 House Restaurant & Inn (143 Main Street, East Hampton, NY 11937, 631.324.1770, www.1770house.com @1770house #1770house) opens its doors from noon on Mother’s Day with a celebration brunch menu to go, followed by nightly dinner menu, by Chef Michael Rozzi.

From noon to 4:30 p.m. on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 10, a $45 two-course prix fixe includes appetizer and entrée (menu below). From 4:30 – 8:00, the nightly take-out menu returns. Rozzi’s menus may be enjoyed with selections from The 1770 House’s 250-bottle Wine Spectator award winning list overseen by Wine Director Michael Cohen. Specials include 25% off the entire wine list or house selections at $20 for one bottle and $50 for three bottles.

For those seeking a Mother’s Day gift on the day, copies of “Dinner with Jackson Pollock” by Robyn Lea are available for $45 along with dining gift cards for The 1770 House and sister-restaurant Cittanuova.

FIRST COURSE SELECTIONS
*Spicy Montauk fluke tartare with pickled cucumber, hijiki, wasabi tobiko & radish
*Shrimp cocktail (6 pieces) with horseradish cocktail
*Caesar salad and house croutons
*Red and golden beets salad with ‘Great Hill’ blue cheese, baby arugula, local honey dressing
*Sweet pea soup with lardons, onion flowers and mint

SECOND COURSE SELECTIONS
*Poached eggs with house-smoked salmon, spring onion hollandaise, wilted greens and thyme biscuits
*King trumpet mushroom and wild ramp frittata, fingerling potatoes and Mecox dairy “Sigit”
*Lump crab cakes with French green bean and radish slaw
*Baked tilefish with artichokes, Taggiasca olives, fava bean leaves, marjoram and toasted hazelnut
*Roasted chicken breast with mushroom risotto and rosemary jus
*Australian lamb chops with roasted vegetable, mint and pistachio gremolata ($10 additional)
*Pasture-raised strip steak with asparagus, hand-cut French fries, ramp jus ($10 additional)
