Most people identify trees based on their leaves or flowers but learning how to identify a tree from its bark, buds, and branches can be fun. And the structure in the dormant months can tell the tree’s story. Join the Peconic Land Trust for an in-person, outdoor walk with local arborist Tom Volk of Summerhill Landscapes to learn about the many different trees growing at this 5-acre garden and the stories they tell.
