The legend of Vito Sisti’s Women’s Show resurfaces on May 7 through May 9, at Ashawagh Hall in Springs, East Hampton.
Vito, who passed away in the winter of 2013, organized his first Women’s Show in 2003 with a small group of women artists. The show progressed over the years to include a full arsenal of local female artists displaying works in photography, collage, painting, and sculpture.
Organized by karyn mannix contemporary, this year’s participating artists are Abby Abrams, Beth Barry, Eileen Hickey, Elaine Grove, Joanlee Montefusco, Karin Padden, Karyn Mannix, Kate Nicholai, Lisa Weston, Mary Antczak, Nina Bataller, Rosalind Brenner, Sally Richardson, Setha Low, Susan Carlo, Teri Kennedy.
