What’s in Our Water?

Description:

Our development on Long Island has led to the rise in varying environmental disruptions. From outdated septic systems to runoff, high levels of nutrients are supplementing algal growth. In our local waters we can see the content of plankton that alone are unseen to the naked eye. In this presentation we will discuss varying algal species, concerns, and mitigation.
