A Night of Haute Cuisine at John’s Pancake House
Chef Christopher Watts, known for his culinary prowess, and caviar connoisseur Michael Passmore are coming together for a one-of-a-kind dining experience that redefines laid-back luxury. On Friday, August 16, from 6 to 9:30 p.m., the pair will partner with Sparkling Pointe wine, the North Fork’s only sparkling wine producer, to host an intimate 7-course caviar-focused dinner at the iconic John’s Pancake House in Montauk — a venue that perfectly captures the essence of laid-back Long Island charm.
This isn’t a typical high-end caviar affair. The event is about breaking conventions, proving that true opulence is about quality and good company, not just the setting. As seen in Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” John’s Pancake House provides a nostalgic, welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy world-class food without the formality.
With only 50 seats available, this is an opportunity for diners to experience haute cuisine with expertly paired bubbly in a truly unexpected setting. Tickets are $500 at passmorecaviar.com under “events.” John’s Pancake House is at 721 Montauk Highway in Montauk.
