‘The Power of Food’
East End Food will host its upcoming benefit event, “The Power of Food: An Evening Benefiting East End Food,” on Thursday, September 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ocean Club Restaurant at Montauk Yacht Club.
The evening will be an opportunity to enjoy a selection of local cuisine and drinks prepared by acclaimed Chef Jarad McCarroll, while supporting a vital cause. Participation will directly contribute to the completion of the East End Food Hub in Riverhead, equipping the shared commercial kitchen and launching the year-round indoor farmers market. Additionally, the funds raised will help develop educational spaces, expand the local food storefront and support community outreach programs.
“The benefit is a pivotal moment for us. It’s more than just a fundraising event — it’s a celebration of our community’s commitment to a sustainable, resilient local food system,” said East End Food Executive Director Marci Moreau. “With your support, we can achieve our goals and continue to provide essential services that benefit both our farmers and the broader community.”
Ocean Club Restaurant at Montauk Yacht Club is located at 32 Star Island Road in Montauk.
Tickets are $200 and can be purchased at eastendfood.org/calendar. Those who cannot attend are asked to consider a donation to support the mission of East End Food.
