Wine Dinner at Rugosa

Rugosa, at 290 Montauk Highway in East Hampton, is partnering with Wölffer Estate Vineyards for a four-course seasonal wine dinner on Sunday, January 10, at 7 p.m. The cost is $65 per person plus tax and gratuity.

The menu will feature Alaskan king crab paired with Wölffer Blanc de Blanc 2006; pan roasted local monkfish paired with Tuile Chardonnay 2007; and seared Long Island duck breast with Fatalis Fatum 2006.

Wölffer Estate Late Harvest Chardonnay will complement a Bavarian pistachio crisp and grapefruit sorbet will be paired with Late Harvest Chardonnay 2007.

Memorable Meal at Library

Terry Toscano, a local home cook with a certificate in health counseling, will present “A Memorable Meal for the New Year” on Wednesday, January 13, at noon at the Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton. Reservations are required; call 283-0774, ext. 523.
