Hamptons 20th Century Modern, a group dedicated to promoting appreciation of modern architecture on the South Fork, has planned three opportunities this summer to tour modern homes and hear from experts on the architects behind each home.

The first house tour, on Sunday, June 29, is of a home by renowned architects and designers Julian and Barbara Neski.

The two-and-a-half-hour tour of the Marc and Judith Savage House in Amagansett will kick off at 11 a.m. and include a guest speaker.

Built in 1982, the house showcases “sleek lines, expansive windows that flood the space with natural light, and a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living,” according to Hamptons 20th Century Modern.

The current owner, Kathy Formby, offered up the house to Hamptons 20th Century Modern for the tour.

Tickets are limited, and admission is $45. Purchase at eventbrite.com/e/julian-barbara-neski-home-tour-w-speaker-tickets-1340626904159.

Then on Saturday, July 19, at 2 p.m. Hamptons 20th Century Modern will present a tour with Christopher Rawlins, the author of “Fire Island Modernist: Horace Gifford and the Architecture of Seduction.”

Rawlins will take visitors inside The Peter, Jeffrey, and Richard Graham House, aka Sea Cove Farms, in Eastport. Horace Gifford was commissioned in 1978 to design the house, and it was further expanded by another architect in 1996.

Hamptons 20th Century Modern will host a book signing with Jake Gorst, the grandson of architect Andrew Geller, on Saturday, July 27, at the Frisbie House, an “A-Frame” by Geller in Amagansett. The event will offer a look inside the 1958 house, and Gorst will read from and sign his book “Andrew Geller: Deconstructed.” Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Admission is $20. Register at eventbrite.com/e/book-signing-w-jake-gorst-at-frisbie-house-tickets-1340660053309.
