HIFF Summer Film Camp Is Back!

author on Jun 9, 2019

For the eleventh summer the Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) will be offering student filmmaking workshops in partnership with Guild Hall in East Hampton and Southampton Arts Center in Southampton. The workshops are for ages 8 to 15 and students will have the opportunity to make their own films while learning screenwriting, directing, acting, producing and editing from industry professionals. Created by HIFF's executive director Anne Chaisson, the workshops provide a creative outlet and an introduction to digital moviemaking to help kids launch their own projects for fun, passion, and perhaps even a future career. The movies they create are then showcased on the big screen at Guild Hall and the Southampton Arts Center, and made available online for friends and family, far and wide.

Weeklong workshops are offered beginning July 15. For more information, visit hamptonsfilmfest.org.
