National Geographic Wildlife Photographer Comes To Southampton Arts Center

National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore will be visiting the Southampton Arts Center (SAC) on Saturday, August 24, for a talk and book signing in connection with Photo Ark, an exhibition on display at SAC through September 8.

Mr. Sartore will be at the galleries from 2 to 3 p.m., signing his Photo Ark books, which will be available for purchase. He will also give an illustrated talk in the theater at 5:30 p.m.

Mr. Sartore is a world renowned wildlife photographer, specializing in the documentation of endangered species and landscapes around the world. His Photo Ark, a 25 year documentary project, is a part of that mission.

Gallery admission to the book signing at the Southampton Arts Center, which is located on 25 Jobs Lane, is $5. Admission to the talk is $25. Space for the talk is limited and it is recommended to make an advance reservation. Ticket reservations and more information is available on southamptonartscenter.org.
