Pianofest in the Hamptons is delighted to announce that actor Alec Baldwin will host the July 15 Pianofest concert at Avram Theater, on the campus of Stony Brook Southampton.

Mr. Baldwin brings his witty and poignant humor to Pianofest for one night only, providing his commentary to the evening’s performances from multiple pianists. Concert program and artists will be announced the day of the performance.

The concert begins 5 p.m., Monday, July 15, at Avram Theater, 239 Montauk Highway, Southampton. Admission is $20 (students 18 and under free). No reservations needed. Following the concert will be a reception to meet the pianists.

Mr. Baldwin is an actor, writer, and producer. He is also a well-known philanthropist, patron, and board member of the New York Philharmonic. In 2009, he became the host of The New York Philharmonic This Week, the nationally syndicated radio series of the orchestra.

Pianofest presents classical music concerts throughout the summer featuring highly gifted pianists. Now in its 31st season, concerts are held in Southampton, East Hampton, and Westhampton.
