The Corcoran Group held its annual awards ceremony on February 8 at the Southampton Social Club. The ceremony was hosted by President and CEO Pamela Liebman and Executive Vice President, Director of Sales Tresa Hall.

The awards honorees included Susan Breitenbach, who was named Corcoran’s number one agent in the Hamptons, and Gary DePersia who won the Top Deal of the Year award for his $36 million Tyndal Point sale in North Haven.

Additional winners included Gabriel Falco, who received the award for the Highest Rental Price, and Cee Scott Brown and Jack Pearson, who were recognized as the Top Team of the Year. Maritza Jimenez was named Rookie of the Year, Laurie Caputo was named Employee of the Year and Cathy Tweedy earned the Field Award.

Top 2011 Agents by office included: Chris Coleman for Montauk, Arlene Reckson for Amagansett, Gary DePersia for East Hampton, Ginger Thoerner and Peter Hallock for Bridgehampton, Mala Sander for Sag Harbor, Geoff Hull for Southampton and Mark Schindler for Westhampton Beach. Gioia DiPaolo has been named manager of the Sag Harbor office of Prudential Douglas Elliman.

Krae Van Sickle and Lylla Carter have joined Saunders & Associates.

Mr. Van Sickle has joined Saunders as a Senior Vice President. The licensed associate real estate broker and certified buyer representative has been a top-producing broker on the East End of Long Island for the past 18 years.

Previously, Mr. Van Sickle served as the Senior Managing Director of the Amagansett and Montauk offices for Allan Schneider Associates and The Corcoran Group. Prior to his career in residential real estate, Mr. Van Sickle was the Director of Leasing and Operations for a commercial real estate development company that restored architecturally distinctive and historic landmark properties in New York, Boston and Chicago.

Ms. Carter, who has joined Saunders as a Senior Vice President, is a licensed real estate salesperson. She joins Saunders following eight years with Allan Schneider Associates and The Corcoran Group.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Carter serves on the board of the Southampton Cultural Center and is Vice President of the Choral Society of the Hamptons, where she is also a singer.
