Breskin Development’s latest build is officially off the market — snatched up by Hilary and Joseph Adams for $12.25 million on October 5, according to the Real Estate Report Inc. Douglas Elliman’s Erica Grossman worked with Nest Seekers International agent Michelle Breskin, who was also a development partner, on the deal.
Completed in 2021, the 10,000-square-foot post-modern, gabled-style estate at 557 Mitchell Lane in Bridgehampton sits on a 2-acre property bordered by a reserve on two sides, “the definition of perfect farm views for peace and tranquility,” the listing said.
Three levels of living space are home to eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a certain attention to detail and finishes, like custom paneling and millwork, that the Water Mill developer is known for.
The grand entry leads to a living room, den, walnut paneled formal dining room, large first floor junior suite, and a kitchen with custom cabinetry by Ciuffo. The house includes five masonry fireplaces — three interior and two exterior — with herringbone fireboxes and custom stone fabricated mantles.
The second floor houses four guest bedrooms and a primary suite with walk-in stained oak custom closets and a “spa-like bathroom” with a custom Ciuffo waterfall double vanity, Calcutta marble backsplash, and a Waterworks soaking tub, the listing said. The lower level includes a gym, screening room with theater seating and a sauna/steam room.
Outside, a heated 20-foot-by-55-foot Gunite pool and spa join a full-sized sunken tennis court and a pool house, complete with a kitchenette, wet bar, changing room and half bath. In addition to an attached two-car garage, a detached four-car garage — with dual recessed car lifts for the avid car collector — rounds out the property.
“It will be difficult to find an amenity that hasn’t been included in this well thought-out and impeccably designed home,” the listing said.
