A modern 1.7-acre Sagaponack Village estate built in 2017 recently sold for $16.5 million, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., just $1.5 million shy of its asking price.

Designed by Jason Thomas Architect of Southampton and executed by Sagaponack Builders, the residence at 101 Ericas Lane has 10,000 square feet of living space, including the finished lower level, and nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms and one half-bath. Joan Limongello of Sagaponack Builders designed the neutral European interiors, and Landscape Details curated the specimen trees, walkways and hedged lawns.

Through the glass entry, the living room has telescoping glass walls. A number of floor-to-ceiling windows take advantage of the natural light, and custom Lutron lighting supplements. Blackout shades are throughout the residence for when darkness is desired.

The master bath features dual vanities, a water closet, a glass shower, and a soaking tub with treetop views.
