Thanks for hosting the North Haven mayoral debate last week. I think it was a very informative and well run.
I’m writing to voice my support for Terie Diat in that race. I’ve known Terie for about eight years, when she and her husband, Jon, hired me to design their new home.
As an architect, I’ve worked with lots of different kinds of people, and I have to say that in over 30 years of practice, I haven’t had a better client. Terie’s ability to communicate her thoughts and to digest someone else’s is remarkable.
I saw that again over the last two years as she attended the North Haven Village Architectural Review Board meetings (I am the current chairman of that board) to watch our process to see how we operated and work with us to streamline our piece as it related to the rest of the village boards.
I’ve also really enjoyed the monthly e-newsletters that she instituted highlighting what’s happening in the village.
I believe Terie to be an exceptionally fair and balanced decision maker and strongly urge others to vote for her.
