Positive Energy

I am writing on behalf of Chris Fiore, who is currently a mayoral candidate for the Village of North Haven. Having spoken with Chris over the course of several years and having observed his active dedication to public service, as well as his managerial skills, I am enthusiastically supporting his candidacy.

By all accounts, Chris appears to possess the critical intrinsic skill sets that define an effective leader: listening, negotiations, compromise and integrity.

To begin with, it is evident that Chris is highly committed to preserving and enhancing the natural character of this beautiful village. Considering the number of hours he has devoted to the preservation of Lovelady Powell’s property, his accomplishment identifying contractors skilled in property design, and his efforts organizing and championing implementation regarding its initial cleanup, it is clear that Chris has the ability to move large projects from one point to the next with persuasion, keenness and, most importantly, efficacy, all while openly communicating this with the input of residents of North Haven.

Chris demonstrates excellent communication skills, particularly his ability to listen. Clearly, his words reveal a vision for this village that is easily embraced by the listener. As such, his capacity to persuade people to support his ideas appears to be a noteworthy characteristic, one that is vitally important to both maintaining, as well as moving the village forward amid a rapidly changing fragile eastern Long Island.

In closing, I greatly admire Chris’s character regarding the manner in which he is conducting his campaign, especially his open-mindedness. Always, he brings a positive energy to the many hours he devotes to meeting and speaking with residents of North Haven.

In summary, honesty, sensitivity and outstanding leadership characterize Chris, who promises to be an approachable leader in this diverse demographic that typifies our village.
