Canio’s Books, On the Road, will open a holiday pop-up shop over three weekends in December at the Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum at 200 Main Street. The temporary bookshop will offer holiday gifts and books for sale starting Thursday, December 12, and concluding Sunday, December 29, at the historic museum in the heart of Sag Harbor Village. A 67-year-old hiker who got separated from his group in the Pine Barrens near Manorville was located after a massive emergency response and hours of searching on Monday, December 9. The man, who is from Staten Island, was reported missing at about 2:30 p.m. by friends who had been with him at Manorville Hills County Park that morning.
