I have known Palmer Hudson for a long time and was excited to hear that he was running for Southampton Village trustee. Palmer has always been well-spoken, respectful and dedicated, qualities we can all appreciate in our elected leadership.
His knack for solving problems and seeing both sides of every issue will surely be a boon for the village and its residents. These traits, combined with his willingness to openly communicate his plans and ideas, would allow him to serve the village well.
Additionally, having studied at Georgetown University and received degrees in both computer science and government, Palmer brings a strong foundation to the table. Tech know-how will, I imagine, continue to be vital in the modern era, and having somebody with that expertise serving our village seems like a great fit.
