A Place For Everyone

Value pak. Lovely junk mail we cannot avoid. In my most recent edition, as always, fliers for lawn care. Tick and mosquito extermination. Perfection achieved with fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides. “Organic” or not.

Nothing new — except the addition of treatment for inchworms. Inchworms? Those harmless, tiny little yellow green things that dangled from trees in the spring? We need to dispose of them?

No. They are primary food source for almost all baby birds.

People. Please stop killing things. If nature distresses or frightens you, find a nice concrete-filled city to live in.

Be happy. There is a place for everyone. Even inchworms.
