In honor of Veterans Day, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a package of bills to enhance services and bolster protections for veterans, including legislation to provide military voters the opportunity to vote in school district elections. New York State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele Jr. was a prime sponsor of two of the bills.
