Barbara L. Meier
Barbara L. Meier of North Sea died on May 1. She was 78.

Born in New York City on January 11, 1935, she lived in North Sea and enjoyed being near the Peconic Bay since the late 1940s.

She was a member of the Southampton Golf Club for many years. Survivors said she loved taking her children and grandchildren to swim in the ocean and chasing squirrels away from the bird feeders. Her love of gardening and golf stayed with her throughout her life, even as she struggled with a number of health issues.
